My area of specialization within psychology is theoretical psychology, which is a combination of generalist psychology, philosophy of science, and the history and philosophy of psychology. My graduate training was in existential phenomenology. I regularly teach a number of “ordinary” or mainstream courses, like Introductory, Personality, or History of Psychology, as well as a few less typical, more unusual courses like Psychology of religion and Psychology and literature (which is cross-listed and co-taught with an English professor).
By looking through these course descriptions and accompanying texts, you will gain a good sense of my teaching background.
